Side & Special Events 

During the 2nd Istanbul International Water Forum, 17 distinct side and special events on diverse issues were organized by international institutions, state authorities and non-governmental organizations. The side events were unique opportunities for stakeholders to draw attention to their concerns and the issues they prioritized in the management of water resources. Event organizers also shared their visions on water issues and their experiences in water-related projects. In these interactive meetings, users, officials, entrepreneurs and civil society representatives presented their solutions on water challenges and discussed ongoing projects and policies. Exhibitions, workshops and documentary films also shed light on different roles of water in our lives.
